ADHD existst at only 1% when of the foreigners. This difference occurs because of underdiagnosis; not every case is discovered. The cause of the low number of diagnoses is the language barrier and cultural differences. Also the knowlegde of ADHD at foreigners is limited.

In other cultures the raising of children are done from within the whole community. Criticism to the mother is done easily; she tries to do her best with respect to the elderly and ways of social matters. It occurs more when the mother is working. She has to take care of a good education. Because they are ashamed of the fact something is wrong in their household, they do not want to show this to others. Teachers should be aware of this. Resistance of the parents could be the case.
