All children need an educational environment where they can feel safe and accepted. If these needs are fulfilled the next basic need is in order (Pyramid of Maslow).
Children are curious by nature and want to discover the world around them. They want to do this on their onw as much as possible: try themselves and solve problems they are facing.
The teacher normally plans a route for the more difficult chidren. Why is this?
