Working attitude
Working attitude of ADHD students can be influenced possitively.

Giving the right education could be improved by using these tips:

• give small assignments and divide them into subtasks. A task will be more comprehensible and you are able to give feedback more quickly
• adjust the tasks to the cognitive level of the child

• improve the appearance of the tasks (content, color, drawings, shape, ...). Children with ADHD are looking for something which gives them attention. A boring task will shift the attention to other things
• offer materials and processing possiblities in different modalities: visual, audio, taste, etc.
• vary boring and interesting tasks
• use a clear structured approach (step for step) for the practices
• visualize the steps; you can use rule cards for this
• give difficult and boring tasks in the morning
• when the student controls the educational matters, decrease the practice tasks
• make use of computers. Programs give direct feedback and the practices are most of time interesting
• relate new practices with old practices
• take care of "active tasks"
• after a 15 minute of work period allow him/her to do something different for 5 minutes
